In response to @RupertLowe10 speaking out against their racist internship scheme excluding white people, @thebarcouncil have said they are 'proud of the work we do on improving equality, diversity and inclusion'.

They mention 'negative' and 'disgraceful' social media posts against the scheme...

There are negative posts about it because people rightly won't tolerate racism against white people.

They go on to say 'we are committed to continuing to run and promote our excellent programmes, including 10KBI.'
