Motherhood is deciding whether to eat my food very slowly, just in case I accidentally gave myself part of my toddler’s portion, or eating quickly to be done before they start screaming to get down to play. It’s a trap. Both are wrong.

I adore my life in North Carolina, raising my son with my wonderful husband near where I grew up and my family within driving distance.

@axfolsom We were so lucky that DJ never really spit up as a newborn and only had a few blowouts. Then feeding solids came along and even with bibs, smocks, and everything else we can think of, he goes through several outfits a day.
