Motherhood is deciding whether to eat my food very slowly, just in case I accidentally gave myself part of my toddler’s portion, or eating quickly to be done before they start screaming to get down to play. It’s a trap. Both are wrong.
I don't really know who still actively uses Twitter and who doesn't. Most of (what is this called here, a timeline? feed?) what I see are corporate accounts I followed ages ago. Maybe that's why taking it off my phone didn't feel like a big deal. *tap* Is this thing on?
Just saw Titanic in 3D at the same theater I saw it at in 1997. Honestly kind of surreal. Pretty sure @elisecarolineb was a few rows in front of me with someone who had never seen it! Elise, if that was you, what did that person think?!

Got Chris Jericho from the very first performance! What does it say about me that the three performers I’ve known from the get go are country singers, a Backstreet Boy, and a professional wrestler? #maskedsinger
In 2008, sitting in our dorm common room, I learned about and joined Twitter. I tweeted really stupid inside jokes by SMS. Now I mostly use it to keep up with former colleagues and the writing community, but damn I miss those simple SMS days of yore.

I adore my life in North Carolina, raising my son with my wonderful husband near where I grew up and my family within driving distance.
Still, I miss my friends in Boston. <3
@axfolsom We were so lucky that DJ never really spit up as a newborn and only had a few blowouts. Then feeding solids came along and even with bibs, smocks, and everything else we can think of, he goes through several outfits a day.
