I started my design journey at age 17, in 2022 with a course that cost just N2k, during ASUU strike. At the time, it wasn’t a big decision. I wasn’t chasing a career. I wasn’t thinking long-term. I just wanted to try something new… something fun.
Back then, my brother had just given me my first laptop. To me, it was mostly for playing games, watching football, and passing time. Design wasn’t the plan - it was just a curiosity I decided to explore.
But somewhere between opening my first blank canvas on photoshop, and struggling with my first layers, something changed.
I started noticing how brands made me feel.
Why some looked trustworthy.
Why others felt confusing.
Why some businesses had great ideas but weak identities.
I was tired of seeing amazing businesses overlooked simply because their branding didn’t reflect their value.
So I leaned in. I started learning brand design - logos, typography, color systems, visual identity. Not just making things look good, but helping brands communicate clearly, confidently, and consistently.
Slowly, what started as “just for fun” became something more.
Now, I help businesses turn ideas into identities.
I help founders look as credible as they truly are.
I help brands show up with clarity instead of confusion.
It’s more than design for me. It’s about giving businesses a voice, a presence, and a story people can recognize and trust.
And sometimes I still think about that laptop… the one I used mostly for games and football. I had no idea it would become the tool that shaped my path.
That’s why I do what I do in brand design.
