There should be a reality show about middle aged married couples going round each other’s houses, drinking too much wine, then having political debates, drinking more wine, then shouting out “play this!!!” and requesting songs that remind us of our youth. Because THAT is reality.

@rickygervais just started watching Afterlife. As someone who’s wife currently has cancer, and has a NaN with dementia, plus a half German Shepherd dog, this really speaks to me. I’m in tears of both laughter and sadness. Absolutely brilliant ❤️
