I'd do it again in a heartbeat, friend - I'm so glad they're bringing you comfort at a fraught time (although please still accept the medicine despite my written note... I should've specified that "books heal all wounds, but professional healthcare is pretty banging too"...)
The way I know I've truly accepted my ADHD: today, when prompted to restart my computer, I clicked 'postpone for 4 hours' rather than naively postponing for 10 minutes about 42 times throughout the work day.
Self-actualisation complete.
Nature is healing.
Great show against the far right yesterday. Thank you to all our members who attended and made a stand.
Solidarity with all who have felt scared and targeted these last few weeks. We will not let hate win โฅ๏ธ๐คโ
Ben: โJust so you know, Henry, the firemanโs pole doesnโt go directly into the fire engine.โ
Mike: โDonโt tell him that, donโt - come on Ben, thereโs enough bad news today, donโt tell him that!โ
I'm genderqueer. If I say 'as a woman' it's shorthand for:
"I'm a person that was socialised as a woman for a large part of my life and identify with some aspects of it but not all and 'woman' doesn't accurately describe my gender but it's quicker to say"
It has become apparent to me that I may, in fact, be in the titular "Oblivion" of Elder Scrolls IV
I've spent many years playing this game, and finally I've discovered what Patrick Stewart was so unsettled about in those dungeons
It does seem quite bad, now that I'm here...
Let's not be hasty.
I haven't completed the first story mission yet.
The Jemane twins kept getting struck unconscious trying to fight the (invincible) carnivorous plants indigenous to... wherever I am, rather than fighting the dremora trying to end my life.
And yes, I lured the (also invincible) Jemane twins through the gate "on the way" to their house because I forgot about the levelling issue in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion meaning that I get my ass handed to me every time I fight something bigger than a rat, and I NEED BACKUP

I reckon that, in terms of real-world time, @beckyface probably holds some kind of record for longest time spent between starting playing Oblivion and actually completing the first story mission outside of the prison. That time? ~15 years.
The five neurodivergent love languages: infodumping, parallel play, support swapping, Please Crush My Soul Back Into My Body, and "I found this cool rock/button/leaf/etc and thought you would like it"
Everyone at the table: It's fine we can play without background music
Me: If I can't have my perfectly curated playlist for GMing this TTRPG about barnacles trying to escape back to the sea from a gothic boathouse I will jump out of that window and take all the dice with me
