@HMRCcustomers He registered as self employed in February 2025 after taking some freelance work in late April 2024 so will file for 24/25 but he should not need to file anything for 23/24
@HMRCcustomers my husband is getting chased for a missing tax return and associated fees. But it is from after he closed his business and before registering as self employed. He was working for a company PAYE at the time. How do we sort this?
@alexgibson3d @Maker_of_Things @GuildOfMakers Actually just going to use the foam and finish it to look like stone. It's being made for an exhibition and needs to be super light and low cost. One day, if we get the funding, maybe we'll get to make it in stone
@GuildOfMakers Can find me most places as Pepperdine Creations but if you really want to see what I'm up to this year then check out https://t.co/QS1pAmh1TJ and thanks for an excellent #MakersHour everyone, been a while since I could join in
@KaleidoscopeSci@GuildOfMakers 3D printers still blow my mind! Even though I use them so regularly now. We just got a dual extruder flashforge at work and watching that print is magic!
@GuildOfMakers A5 a simple scalpel. I always preferred a chunky Stanley knife, or scissors, just found scalpels scary. I have now learned that having a super sharp knife makes life much easier and actually you're less likely to cause yourself injury #MakersHour
@Maker_of_Things @GuildOfMakers It really works for me, I think my brain thinks in combined shapes... I now use it when I'm trying to visualize things I'm going to sculpt by hand
@GuildOfMakers A5 so much software! Tinkercad, meshmixer & zbrush for 3D and conceptualizing stuff. Illustrator and inkscape for vectors, Photoshop for pictures.... Coding softwares..... Vectric for tessellating shapes. I love using software and traditional methods together #MakersHour
@SueArcher6@GuildOfMakers The worst burn I got was from a hot glue gun at work, runs so much hotter than mine... I still have the scar. Never actually burned myself soldering, touch wood!
