Pressure: The history guys will have to tell me the accuracy of the movie. Otherwise, an overall solid WW2 history movie. Never thought a movie about weather would be so captivating. Everyone who worked on it did an amazing job to conjure such a well made movie. 7.3/10

The Death of Robin Hood: "The tales are lies" but it's never explained why, only "thous aer joost storehs". So many plots could've filled out the runtime better than depressed Robin Hood. The suicide at the end wasn't noble either, it was pathetic. Wasted potential. 4.5/10

Leviticus: The main couple aggravated me. Movie structure goes like 40% beautiful scenes 30% gay romance 20% story and barely 10% "horror". The plot setup had no purpose taking half of the runtime. The big bad demon's intent and ability was also confusing. 5/10, just mediocre.

I lied. I might not have a cinema pass forever since I'll have to move out someday soon, so I'll just keel watching new releases, even if they seem bad.

For the coming movies, I'll put dates on them since my local theatre is replaying a lot of older movies. Let me know of any new releases that I should watch because most of them don't really interest me. I'll try to see if my local theatre has it.

Bad Apples: if you've got a theatre near you, got some spare cash lying around, do watch it. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, a somewhat messed up movie without exploiting gore or nudity. I enjoyed the use of subtle contexts but felt some cinematic scenes were redundant. 7.8/10

Kiki's Delivery Service: I don't know the history of the movie or why it's so special... But it's like a 5.5/10 for me. Nice animation, good music, meh story even for a kids movie and Kiki pisses me off with how many mistakes she makes, doesn't learn and gets lucky.

@isabonventini Sometimes I see posts like these and the replies shock me. I want to believe it's not coming from humans but not every comment is a bot. People are grouped against one another, putting words into the mouth of the "enemy" just for their own agenda. What happened to individuality?

Bitter Christmas: The movie was fine. I understand kind of what it's going for and it's a bit more of a filmmaker's movie. I didn't really enjoy it, arrived late to an empty theatre. The rest of the movie didn't really make me want to watch the few minutes I missed. 5/10

@benrayfield @Elira_59 You know ceremonial roles holds almost no power right? King Charles can't just wake up and decide to make a "Dept Of Kicking Ppl In the Nuts For No Reason". Ceremonial figureheads are only there to keep loyalists happy and secure alliances

@benrayfield @Elira_59 Yeah, much better than to kill a King. Slow, but you build a strong foundation with minimal casualties. Also kind of the reason why a lot of modern European countries have Monarchs but only ceremonially. Fix a faulty system rather than rebuilding from the ground up.

@benrayfield @Elira_59 It's not just the news, could be podcasts, movies, streamers, even music. Silencing them would require a lot of proof in a democracy. Education also heavily depends on the government. Pretty funny though, sounds a lot like modern day governments. 😅

@benrayfield @Elira_59 Then also, you have to consider the media. Just like in the modern day, a lot of media sources could be paid off by the government and therefore give enough loyalists to keep the government in power.

@benrayfield @Elira_59 That's fair. But that situation would occur if a leader is compeltely useless. Random votes will have to consider a lot of demographics because someone in one region could say "I don't like the current government" but someone in another region could say otherwise
