This is the sexist mindset that makes many parents treat their daughters harshly. This idea that girls are naturally sweet while boys are naturally badly behaved, so when a girl doesn’t meet those expectations she’s treated like a deviation or abomination instead of a child in need of guidance.

It’s completely normal for little kids who have poor emotional regulation and developing moral reasoning to act out sometimes. It’s their parents’ job to help them understand why their behaviour is wrong and guide them to better choices. Why bring children into the world if you expect them to come with a preinstalled and fully developed sense of right and wrong? It is literally your job to teach them that.

We need fewer people having daughters who expect them to be little angels before they’re even born. It is dehumanising and sets them up for a life of dehumanisation. Daughters are human. They act out too.

Women do this all the time for husbands who pay their fees, and it’s not degrading then. But when a man does it for his wife, it’s degrading, humiliating and she will belittle him one day?

Ironically, men with significantly more money than their partners have historically been far more likely to use that financial advantage to exert control, inflate their ego, or remind women who pays the bills.

But When women earn more, many simply support their partners the same way women have always expected men to support them. Yet somehow, it’s treated as an attack on a man’s masculinity.

Great, but this is one of the issues with practicing medicine in countries like this Nigeria, There’s something called mechanical ventilator that would have done this work he just spent 6 hrs doing.

This is the shege the poor health care in Nigeria puts us through.

Patients don’t even know what we pass through to just ensure things work a bit.

It’s someone giving you palm oil and water alone to cook a soup, what we’re given to work with as medical personnels in Nigeria is far worse.
