Interesting to note that Premier Doug Ford claims Stan Cho made a "mistake."
But the "mistake" happened repeatedly over three years:
2023-24: $1,431 in Toronto accommodation
2024-25: $3,081 in Toronto accommodation
2025-26: $11,691 in Toronto accommodation
The "mistake" was also being repeatedly made by multiple PC MPPS to the overall tune of $120,000

We've seen this film before. Trump attacks Ontario. Doug Ford tweets tough. But none of it answers the question Ontarians are actually asking: when does life get more affordable?
Ford's government has done nothing to fix the affordability crisis hitting every family in every corner of this province. Ontarians need results, not more bravado on social media.
MPP Hardeep Grewal billed taxpayers $27,000 for downtown Toronto hotels. Now we've learned he was also spending your tax dollars on ads in a newspaper owned by his own father.
Your money. His family's business.
Today I asked the Integrity Commissioner to investigate. If Grewal's family is profiting from public dollars, the people deserve to know.
Doug Ford sets the tone for his caucus. His MPPs fund their lifestyles with your money and keep his confidence. What else can you expect from a Premier who tried to buy himself a private jet on your dime?
On Friday, Stan Cho said he "did not stop to ask how it would look to a person in my riding working a double shift."
Today we learned it wasn't just $16,000 in hotels. It was nearly $100,000 more in steak dinners, Blue Jays suites and limousines, billed to his riding association, every receipt filed as a "meeting."
He never stopped.
This is the culture Doug Ford built. A Premier who wanted a $30 million private jet for himself has no standard to hold his ministers to, and they know it.
The people funding all of this are working the double shifts Stan Cho only mentions on the way out the door.
To everyone who has supported the PC Party with their donation or their vote: you gave them your trust and your money. They spent both on themselves.
You deserve better. I hope I can earn your trust to deliver an NDP government that respects taxpayers and makes your life more affordable.
We thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we all navigate the many construction projects throughout the city. Remember to check https://t.co/Q1g8PxYYju for detour details daily before heading out!
This is why every single Ontarian should be absolutely outraged about Ford killing our right to FOI!
A government that insists on operating in darkness and secrecy does not have the public interests at heart. These crooks are meant to work for us!
Protect Ontario my ass!!!
One single staff member in just one of Doug Ford's ministries spent almost $24,000 on expenses last year alone, but we don't have enough money to properly staff schools, or provide kids and educators with basic school supplies.
@Fordnation priorities at work.

Watch what happens when Doug Ford is under pressure from the press - he loses it and calls them pricks
Keep the pressure on. His cover ups and bullying can only last so long until he breaks
BREAKING: Doug Ford’s luxury jet cost taxpayers nearly $200,000 in additional fees.
He told us there were no additional costs for returning it.
He lied.
While Ontarians can’t afford groceries or rent, Ford is living like a rockstar on your dime.
With the ongoing construction on Wellington, Routes 1, 10, 13, 30 & 90 will have additional stop closures between Baseline and Exeter. For details on affected stops, visit https://t.co/Ifec8RlAt6. #LdnOnt
As Premier Doug Ford was asked about the OSAP changes, he thundered back, calling the Ontario Liberals a "bunch of amateurs" who would bankrupt a lemonade stand.
Note: Under Ford, Ontario's debt will grow to half-a-trillion and the budget has yet to be balanced.

Grocery prices are up 30% in five years. Families are spending $1,000 more just to buy the same food.
And now grocery giants and tech companies are teaming up to use AI-powered algorithms and electronic shelf labels to charge you even more for the same carton of eggs, based on your data, your searches, what you click.
This is called surveillance pricing, and I'm bringing a vote to ban it in Ontario.
Manitoba's NDP government banned it. Doug Ford can too. He just has to choose people over corporations.
Is Doug Ford hiding criminal activity on his phone?
With his plan to change the law and bury his records forever – we may never know.

As of yesterday, Ontario is out of compliance with the Canada Health Act because Doug Ford's government missed the federal deadline to fund nurse practitioners.
Now Ontarians are being forced to pay out of pocket for primary care. 2.5 million people don't have a family doctor, and this Minister has no plan to fix it.
A new poll by Abacus Data found 63% want Progressive Conservative MPPs to vote against their own government and defeat the province's planned changes to the FOI laws.
Why?
Because the poll found a majority believe the changes are "primarily intended to reduce government accountability."
