BREAKING NEWS | AKA's dad, Tony Forbes, has expressed his "extreme disappointment" over the airing of his son's last moments at the Madlanga Commission last week.

These revelations creates the impression that Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi is not a "neutral" truth teller, but rather a gatekeeper who decides which secrets get out and which stay buried.

While his testimony made him look like a fearless leader standing up to political pressure, but this frame him as a participant in a larger, more complex game of political chess. Why was Mkhwanazi loud about other politicians but silent on the Morgan/Ramaphosa connection mentioned here? Selective amnesia in the #AdHocCommittee is just another form of protection.
