@AstraiaAI I disagree, this is a responsible take on using AI. People need to be able to think to recognize when the AI is wrong. A responsible use of AI is something that we need to be thinking about now regardless instead of throwing it at literally every single problem (trivial or not).
@fswlinux I technically started with Redhat when I was in college in the early '10s. Ubuntu was my first home/personal use distro, though, some years later.
@ntovas_gi@deedydas I have tried to use AI for coding assistance, and vibe coding is definitely not an improvement. The AI is going to recommend you something regardless of the scope and context of the problem.
@Aditya_181105 I have heard yes, but I have also heard that battery management system can be setup to prevent you from damaging the battery so I don't really know what to believe.
@Chavenham I lot more than 7 for me. Bought them with the intent to play, but life got in the way and eventually I forgot about them. Now I look at them and think "eh, don't feel like it."
@PaulTassi I think the real issue is not can the AI do it, but is this something we **should** be using AI for. If we outsource our culture (the arts) to a machine, then what really is left for humanity to do?
@JamesGeneoakley@Pirat_Nation Things might be changing. I saw a court in Germany said Google is responsible for misleading information provided in their AI summary on search results now. What was found was the summary fabricated information that wasn't found in the linked/cited articles.
@Sexydino56@Pirat_Nation While I didn't know what a MCP server was until I just looked it up, not everyone or every company has the ability to do this. My current employer, for example, doesn't want to self-host AI and so we ended up with Claude.
@benoski73@_Tom_Henderson_ Yeah, I'm not really thrilled about that either. I would argue there are too many games being made today. We don't need more. As much as I want to love indie games, there are so many "pump-and-dump" meme or low-effort games that they have the audacity to charge money for.
@Pirat_Nation The thing I don't get is that if you can completely do your job with AI then what value is there in paying your salary AND paying for your AI spend?
