The Beauchamp Tower @TowerOfLondon. Built on orders of King Edward in 1281 and one last of the inner curtain wall built. 1/4 of a million bricks were used in its construction . One of the 1st large scale uses of brick in England since roman times. It was a groundbreaking project

@VeteranIrish Once had a top brass visit to our Sqn whilst stationed at RAF Bruggen. My Sgt ordered me to sweep the puddles with a bash broom... only issue was that it was tipping it down at the time. ๐ฏ. Halsian days๐.
