@Nicocantor1 Here's my problem. The first four matches weren't played like the teams in the past 3 World Cups. The fifth match, perhaps the most important one, was. Look back and see the pattern. 1. Give up an early goal, 2. Show some fight. 3. Make mistakes that lead to a 2nd and 3rd goal.
@joedratnol Tab would be a great choice; however, the next coach has to be viewed as an interim, as they look for someone with "staying" power for the next World Cup. Someone to handle next year's Gold Cup and Copa America, but after that, find someone who can get them past the round of 16.
Outclassed, out coached, outplayed, out of the tournament. When you play like you did in the previous 3 World Cups instead of the previous 4 matches, you donβt stand a chance in the knockout rounds. @USMNT#Belgium
This looks like the old @USMNT Give up an early goal, makes mistakes and canβt play worth a hill of beans. No 1-1 wins, Belgium denying the over-the-top balls. Poor performance. 22 minutes to turn it around
Merino's intelligence showed in the Spanish goal. He's the one who took the quick restart and got lost in the Portuguese defense. Allowed that run and the pass to find him for the finish. Crafty, very, very crafty. @FIFAWorldCup
I think the Belgians have a case regarding Balogun. They were preparing for a #USMNT without him. Now they only have 24 hours to prepare for him. Any nation would be clamoring and wanting a clear explanation. @FIFAWorldCup
The referee has his work cut out for him these last 15+ minutes. Every foul is going to have chatter and card pleas. Good luck sir! #mexveng@FIFAWorldCup
@THEChrisKessell Rule should be changed to have a continuous forward motion once started. No stopping, no games. These guys are good enough to score every penalty they take.
Thank you π¨π»! They never gave up coming back twice and taking π¦π· a full 120 is exceptional. I hope they qualify for the next World Cup! @FIFAWorldCup#argvcvp
@ojevans18@PHNX_Sports@MaxDavidSimpson Thank you for taking the time for that explanation. Itβs great to have someone local who is thoughtful and able to explain things in this manner.
@ThatCroatianGuy Refereeing is not easy and harder when youβre biased as a fan. Sometimes thatβs the hardest to keep in check and look at things objectively
