My son is 15

I never bought him a pride onesie when he was a baby.

I never read him a book that had two moms as part of the storyline.

When he was little stores and businesses didn’t have LGBTQ+ displays and we didn’t celebrate pride month.

He was raised Catholic, and went to church.

Guess what? He is gay.

The rainbow won’t make your kids gay. They are born that way. A display in a store won’t make your kid trans, they are born that way.

If you don’t love and accept them for who they are, YOU are a shitty parent.

They haven’t failed, you have.

@piper4missouri I listened to a podcast done by a journalist who had a fear of flying, I believe she spoke with a hypnotist, it was very interesting but I can’t remember the name! Try searching fear of flying in a podcast app. Also consider seeing a hypnotist yourself, my mom had good results

@Theholisticpsyc This is very interesting- I have a child with low frustration tolerance. I’ve been trying to do things right, better than my parents, and I still missed their needs at some point. Im not quite sure where to go from here
