Even if there's one Shia left on Earth, even in the remotest corner, Imam Hussain's name will be still taken. Subhan Allah.
Yeh hai Hussain. His legacy will go on... Mita nahin sakte uss yaad ko, uss din ko, uss maarkay ko.
Sometimes I wonder why all his life including the very last moments, Imam Ali stressed over care of orphans but then I think about Hasan’s (a) poisoned liver, Hussain’s (a) severed head, Abbas’ (a) detached arms, Zaynab’s (s) chained hands, Kulsoom’s (a) bare head and know why.
Anyone wants to see unconditional love? Look at what’s happening in Iraq right now. Over 25 million walk towards the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (AS). Whilst millions have thousand of mawkibs serving free food, drinks, shelter, massages, WiFi, you name it they will have it!
What breaks my heart about the masaaib of the 7th is how Imam Hussain (a) was there to help everyone and often aids us even before we are aware of what we need yet the one time he was called by the son of his beloved brother, he was unable to help.
من از کودکی عاشقت بوده ام
قبولم کن حسین گرچه آلوده ام
"From a young age I was filled with your love
Accept me oh Hussain (as), despite my shortcomings"
My favourite community feeling stems from the first 10 days of Muharram, it blossoms the most wholesome of brotherhoods. It’s true when they say Hussain (a) opens his arm for everyone; the rich and the poor, the young and the old - no discrimination.
چقدر عشق و وفا عباس دارد برای حسین
که حتی در تقویم روز تولدش آمد بعد حسین
"How much love and loyalty does Abbas have for Hussain (as), that even on the calendar the day of his birth follows directly next to Hussain (as)"
