See a lot of people on here criticizing Lindsay Vonn today. I don't know her, never met her. I had damage to my right knee as I closed out my career in 02.., got hit in my last series against Detroit, and as I sat in the locker room, I thought there is no way I want my career to end here. ACL gone - I was able to brace it, and play in the remainder of the series… Was it the right thing to do? For me and many others 100% yes… Unless you're in the arena, you can never really know. The fact that the matter is that Vonn wanted to go out on her terms.
