Today I’ll work a 9-hour day to pay for illegals to have free housing and healthcare. Most of my paycheck will go to taxes , my inflated mortgage and my insanely high health insurance costs—my taxes will fund fraud, global communism, and illegal border hoppers. I’ll put away a measly amount so my children can hope to one day afford college, while the illegals who just showed up here will go for free. My American children will be paying loans well into their 30s while they compete with debt-free foreign invaders for a low-paying job outside their degree.

New cars now come with no oil or transmission dipsticks so checking the oil is no longer possible by the owner. Starters on some makes are located inside the transmission bell housing so the transmission must be removed to replace. Alternators that require dropping the entire engine like on a kia stinger. Timing chains & guides located in the rear of the engine instead of the front which again require removal of the entire drivetrain. Pickup truck cabs & front sheet metal must be removed to work on the engines. Replacing a plastic door handle now requires a complete door panel replacement that comes complete even with new window & door lock switches. Fenders & other parts with patents that force you to buy replacements directly from the factory or are "vin locked" so going to the junk yard for a part is no longer an option. Ford has patented & will be installing sensors that monitor your pupils & pulse rates to see if you are in the right frame of mind to allow you to start your car. Auto repair shops have to lease & download proprietary software for their code readers costing between $7k to $10k per year depending on the mfg so they can repair your car or truck. Software that is installed in your car belongs to the manufacturer so you never really own your car & can be used to remotely disabled your car if you miss a payment. Heated seats & mirrors on monthly subscriptions. Data collecting of your driving habits reported back to the mfgs who sell it to insurance companies that use it to raise your rates or to cancel your auto insurance completely. Now new mercedes owners must go to the dealer just to open their car hoods. Owners are only allowed to add windshield wiper fluid through a fender opening. When does it stop? When we all keep our 10 year old cars & give them the middle finger.

The argument is that Republicans are operating like royalty. Unaccountable. Unelected. Making decisions that affect millions of people without a vote.

I want to talk about something closer to home. Who dictates your utility bill costs...

Puget Sound Energy serves 1.1 million customers in King and Snohomish counties. Snohomish County PUD serves another 370,000. Seattle City Light covers most of Seattle. Every single person in this region wakes up and pays whatever these utilities charge. You have no choice. You cannot switch providers.
PSE's electric bill is up 30% since 2023. If you are an Avista customer in eastern Washington, you are up over 40% since 2022. Nobody asked you. Nobody voted on it.

Here is how it happened.

Three people set PSE's profit rate. Not elected. All three appointed by Democratic governors. The current chair came from a clean energy advocacy organization. The governor who appointed him signed the law that requires PSE to make billions in new capital investments. Under the rules these three commissioners enforce, every dollar of that investment earns PSE a guaranteed 9.9% annual return. Collected from your bill. For decades.

The profits do not stay in Washington. PSE is owned by a consortium of Canadian and Dutch pension funds. Your utility payment leaves this state every month.

In King County, you can vote for your school board. Your city council. Your county executive. You cannot vote for a single person who decides what you pay for electricity.

That is not a Republican system. That is not a Democratic system. That is three people, appointed by one party that has held the governorship for 40 years, setting the price of a service you cannot refuse to buy.

The "No Kings" crowd wants you looking at Washington D.C.

Everyone should unequivocally condemn the government-imposed racial discrimination Obama is pushing!

Obama makes three errors in one post, all of them philosophical.

First, the United States is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. The purpose of the Constitution is to protect individual rights from the majority, not to ensure "equal participation in our democracy." The Founders designed the system specifically to prevent what Obama is demanding: unlimited majority rule.

Second, "protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach" sounds correct until you examine the premise. Rights belong to individuals, not groups. The moment you define rights by racial group membership, you have adopted the same collectivist framework that produced the discrimination you claim to oppose. Jim Crow categorized people by race and assigned rights accordingly. Modern voting rights activism does the same thing with different beneficiaries. Both are collectivism.

Third, gerrymandering is a problem created entirely by the system Obama wants to preserve: a political structure where the drawing of district lines determines outcomes. His solution is not to fix the structure. It is to ensure his side draws the lines.

The government must treat every citizen equally before the law. Everyone should reject Obama's framing entirely. He is not defending individual rights.

He is defending group power, while using the language of rights to make collectivism sound like liberty.
