Absolutely beggars bloody belief…. As I said last week “the lunatics are running the asylum”!!!

Placing Shabir Ahmed who raped countless children over many years in the doorstep of Rochdale/Oldham is just incompetence, neglect and clearly totally ignores the fear expressed by his victims of bumping into him!

I’d been told by a high ranking officer in @gmpolice Greater Manchester Police that he was to be housed outside of the GMP area but not where, and I had hoped he would be sent to the ends of the country to prevent that happening!

And they knew full well how his release had caused lots of fear amongst his victims and the community.

Clearly the powers that be have decided that it’s more important to put him close to his own family, his friends and associates as he needs to feel welcome and that he’s “come home”!!

Well it enrages me! Yet again!

Victims and survivors have yet again not even been a consideration! Not even an afterthought! Just totally irrelevant, ignored and failed!

So all the rhetoric around victims rights is just that! Rhetoric!!

And it makes me sick! 😡

In my 15 years of supporting Ruby I have never heard her so frightened, or triggered, or angry…. Here are a few Ruby’s words shared with me which she wants me to share… and click the link below to hear the short interview tonight

“I want you to say - there’s been no support for the victim of the abused that’s been getting out of prison in less than two days there’s not a team of people the government said there was going to be a team for victims and that’s not been done there broken victims becuase of the broken system I’m scared for my saftey and my kids saftey the main ring leader is getting out of prison who is well known in Rochdale Oldham and Middleton so even if he’s not in that area he still knows people and has a chance to talk to people from that area and that makes me unsafe they said at the end of the trial they was all getting deported at the end of the release and not one of those people have been deported adill kaan is absconded and have had no updates since and again no support for the victims always false promises which the government never deliver we have thousands of victims in the uk which are not being heard or supported becuase of the acts of the government the systems broken and they blame it on mental health when our mental health is so messed up becuase of how victims are treated becuase again no support for victims when abusers get released from prison. victims are left to fend for themselves becuase there is no support. The law act 1971 why are we still going off acts from 50 years ago when it’s not 2026 and we need the acts to be changed laws need to be different and victims need to be heard

I was 12 years old when this started and still getting failed 20 years on broken victims because of a broken system things need to change

I’m angry I’m sad I’m scared I can’t eat I can’t sleep I’m not ok

I’m hurt I’ve been failed again after saying this wouldn’t happen again constant failings and nothing can be do about it it’s not fair how can they treat me like this it’s not fair xx”

An Open Letter to @sra_solicitors:

To Whom it May Concern,

I am reaching out to inform you of the behavior of one Aqeeb Khan, a trainee solicitor with Central Chambers Law Ltd. who is already on probation through your office due to a prior stalking conviction.

I am in possession of screenshots in which Mr. Khan appears to be attempting to unlawfully intimidate a victim of the grooming gangs into changing her story because it implicates him and his family. I am also in possession of a screenshot of a post in which Mr. Khan appears to admit to having the victim’s address, and suggests that he and another man “pay her a visit.”

Mr. Khan seems certain that your office will ignore his criminal behavior and allow him to continue practicing law. I am reaching out because I hope that you will prove him wrong.

The grooming gangs victims deserve our support and respect, not intimidation and threats of violence. Your office is in a position to act on this matter. I sincerely hope that you will prove yourselves worthy of the immense trust and responsibility that have been placed in you.

Thank you for taking these threats with the seriousness they deserve.
