@BizerkJerk Grief is a heavy and at times all consuming thing. Unfortunately I’ve found that it’s always there if only in the background or in random moments. But life continues and grows around it. It is hard now, and it will continue to be difficult for some time. Love to you and yours.
im not american but i think aapi month should focus on dismantling antiblackness colourism and classism in asian communities like actually make an effort to EDUCATE yourselves and end this obsession w proximity to whiteness and pick-me-ism for white approval
Anybody wanna talk about how Azzi Fudd is a great fit for the rest of Dallas's roster? How her quick release should translate quicker than other past 3-point specialists and her passing will benefit Paige and Alanna getting catch-and-shoot opportunities? That'd be great.
@qikipedia It's a play on words
Bahala na = derived from "Bathala Na" meaning leaving it up to God. Bathala = God. It got shortened to "Bahala na"
Then for some unknown reason, the "Bahala na" saying got added with Batman in it. "Bahala na si Batman." literally leaving it all up to Batman
Jesus’ harshest words in the gospels wasn’t towards prostitutes, other religions, or undocumented immigrants.
Jesus’ harshest words were towards the rich and religious who used God’s words to justify exploitation and oppression.
Yet many want us to believe the opposite.
they are human though. that’s the thing. humans are capable of extremely evil things in the name of power & wealth and it doesn’t do us any service to pretend otherwise
“It sucks Alex Pretti had to be a veteran, a white man, a nurse & a perfect victim when Black & brown ppl were being killed off in detention centers. It’s heartbreaking all of us are suffering & we weren’t perfect enough victims”
