I told one of my friends that I love them and then they said “Much appreciated” .
Now I understand that statement,
“Unfortunately people have a right to decline your love, no matter how pure your intentions are. You are not what they want and that is okay.”
It's selfish to enter someone's life, see that they're a loving, cheerful, and good person, and decide to ruin their present because you haven't dealt with your own issues. Leave people alone if you have no intention of showing up with sincerity.
i texted her, "how was your day today?" and she sent me a 7 minute voice note telling me everything..
and that basically sums up the kind of person i want by my side. stop normalizing disinterest.
