Republicans always start with “Lincoln freed the slaves” then skip 100 years to the Civil Rights Act, while ignoring the era of Lily-White Republicans and the party’s role in opposing civil rights in the South.

“As more than 500,000 Georgians have lost healthcare insurance since January of this year alone, it is this same Rick Jackson who proudly says he wants to be Donald Trump’s favorite governor.”

Now is not the time to be fighting each other.
People can’t afford basic necessities.
Instead of proposing policies to improve lives, moderate Dems are too busy fighting Progressives and Democratic socialists. I never see them fight Republicans like they do other Dems.
Rep. Crockett doesn’t owe anyone anything except her constituents. She isn’t the nominee, so it’s not her job to mobilize Black voters for Talarico. That responsibility falls on his campaign.
President Obama, Ms. Opal Lee, church visits, and HBCUs alone won’t cut it.
She simply needs to endorse Talarico. She hasn’t yet. She did a vague “let’s support our nominees” plural.
She’s too much of a sore loser to do a full endorsement.
@Based_F_K Black institutions & Black leaders don’t have the same influence they did 20 years ago. Black turnout hasn’t been as high since Obama. His campaign needs to organize in Black neighborhoods and engage voters directly. I want him to succeed but his current strategy isn’t enough…..
The issue is Talarico’s campaign has done a poor job engaging Black voters. President Obama, Ms. Opal Lee, HBCU’s, and a few church visits alone aren’t enough to build real turnout or trust.
Like Rep. Crockett said, there’s still enough time for him to turn things around.
Talarico will win Black voters. The issue isn’t the margin. It’s turnout. He’s struggling with mobilizing Black voters. He could win 86% of the Black vote, but if Black voter turnout is low then those margins won’t matter nearly as much.
He’s needs better outreach. (1/2)
Going to churches and HBCUs alone isn’t enough anymore. Black voters want more than photo ops and speeches. They want a real agenda on jobs, wages, housing, healthcare, and economic opportunity.
If his campaign thinks President Obama and Ms. Opal Lee are all it takes to bring out Black voters, then he’ll lose in November. Outreach has to be consistent, not symbolic, and it has to go beyond high-profile endorsements. (2/2)
To George and Laura, Bill and Hillary — we're grateful for your friendship, counsel, and devotion to this country. And to Joe and Jill, thank you for being on this journey with us.
NEW AD: Congratulations, Gov. Brian Kemp.
Your own party stopped rigging Georgia's maps.
But you won't – you're still set on silencing Black and brown voters and dragging Georgia back to the Old South.

One of my favorite pictures with my father, Reverend Robert Lee Abrams. He and Mom built a beautiful family and filled it with faith, courage, service, laughter, and love.
You left so much good behind, Dad. We love you.

Donald Trump’s handpicked candidate Mike Collins is a notorious bigot, antisemite, and extremist currently under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars. Collins, who is only a congressman because his daddy was a congressman, voted to double health insurance premiums for more than a million Georgians, for the Iran War, and for the Trump tariffs.
