@IncomeTaxIndia Where is the ITR other Forms? Tax Professionals needs time to study the new Forms, Softwares reqd time to integrate. Atleast ITR we can make it ready. If forms are released timely, we can file ITRs once AIS and 26AS are fully updated.

Here we are — nearing July (evenif date is extended to 15th sept 2025 for Non-Audit ITR) , ITR schemas / utilities for ITR-2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 are still pending.

The financial year ends on 31st March, and the utilities should be released by 1st April, or at the very least by 1st June, considering TDS data generally reflects by 5th June. But Every year, the Income Tax Department fails to release ITR schemas /utilities, and this year is no exception.

Here's what must be done — immediately:
3 DEMANDS

1. Release All Pending ITR Schemas / Utilities Within 5 Days. Software vendors and CAs cannot wait endlessly.
The filing season is already compressed due to these delays. If utilities can't be released now, then extend the non-audit ITR due date further from 15th September.

2. Extend Audit-Related Deadlines by 45 Days As Non-Audit ITR is already extended by 45 days.
Extend Tax Audit report due date from 30th Sept to 15th Nov
Extend Audit-based ITR due date from 31st Oct to 15th Dec

3. Release Form 3CA-3CB–3CD schema. Enable button for Adding CA for AY 2025–26
We can’t even add a CA. This is basic functionality — not available even after 3 months of the financial year closing!

Lacs of tax professionals / Lacs of taxpayers across India forced to sit idle- even data is ready — but the system isn’t ready.

PS- We will be happy if date is permanently shifted to 15-9 but We will be more happy if Utilities are released in April month

@sghegdes @reliancejio @JioCare Even my experience with these fellas are same. Initial deposit ₹1000 made to verify availability was not refunded. It’s more than year now. They just give false promises no resolution. @reliancejio @JioCare

@IncomeTaxIndia when can we expect all the ITR forms? We are approached by many clients to file ITR. And for all of them either ITR 2 or 3 is applicable. Don’t push us into the well of tension by intimating forms at days near to due date. Just announce when will it be released.

@KarnatakaCTD officers are issuing SCN in hurry since it is time barring for 20-21, without verifying reply filed for ASMT 10 or DRC 01A. When asked, they are telling how can they verify each reply with inadequate staff. Please provide them adequate staff or ask them to stop 1/3

@KarnatakaCTD why otp for login to PT ? Who told dealer himself do entry, payment & filing? Getting otp each time for entry and filing is big task. Kindly relook the matter. We Professionals are not left with plenty of time. Already exhausted in GST @NICMeity @CMofKarnataka
