Got my hardware design review back this week.
I wasn’t hoping to hear it looked perfect.
I was hoping to find the questions that needed answering before we committed to the next phase.
The review didn’t tell me to start over.
It told me where to ask better questions.
I’m not an electrical engineer.
I’m the founder.
My job isn’t to know everything. It’s to build a process that catches what I don’t know before it becomes an expensive mistake.
That’s how we’re building BeepFinder.

I didn’t invent BeepFinder because I set out to become an inventor.
I invented it because I refused to accept a problem everyone else had learned to live with.
Have you ever heard a chirping smoke detector, but you couldn’t figure out which one was chirping??
Yea that’s why I’m making BeepFinder.
Following for updates!
I get DMs from people whose smoke alarms went off at 3 a.m. asking:
“When is the relief coming?”
That’s why I’m still building BeepFinder.

If you’ve ever stood in the hallway at 2:46 AM waiting for the next chirp…
This one’s for you.
Most people think they’re bad at finding the sound.
They’re not.
There’s a reason smoke alarm chirps are so frustrating to locate.
We broke it down.

every homeowner knows this sound.
it echoes. it bounces. it lies. you’ll walk into the wrong room twice before you find the right one.
ten years nobody fixed this. we’re about to.
@garyvee This is literally my mission statement. I’m building this berpfibder just to help people! Relief i shoukd say…. Even if im getting trolled, i dont care i know in my heart Im trying to help.
It's 2:46 AM.
You heard it. You know you heard it.
Now you're standing perfectly still in a dark hallway, trying to figure out which smoke alarm is chirping.
If this has happened to you — down to the sock feet and the step stool — you're not alone. https://t.co/Spb9lWwuRx
