@thornbridge have created what is becoming the most produced flavour in the #craft #beer scene. The ‘generic session ipa’. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice, smooth drinking with citrus it’s protagonist but it’s a flavour that is becoming way too familiar. An oh no not again 5.5/10

Another from @AldiUK but nowhere as spectacular. This triple hopped #paleale lacks anything to get excited about. Don’t get me wrong it’s pleasant but it’s not a beer you’d remember. It’s hoppy (no surprise) with a small bitter note. Makes for uneventful drinking. A plain 5/10

I’ve uncovered a gem and it’s come from @AldiUK of all places. I mentioned in my earlier review that #budget #beers can have high quality. At £1.25 this #milkshake #ipa smells just like it tastes. Bursts of smooth pineapple, vanilla and cream. A tropical sunshine 9/10 #sexy #win

@HarbourBrewing’s #ipa named Antipodean? Being based in Cornwall they must have a load of Australians over there to get all Southern Hemisphere on their #beer. This one has a light flavour and dosent have that typical hoppyness you get from ipas. An ah yeah 5.5/10 #ozzy #not

I’m a big fan of these funky #milkshake #beers you see popping up. @BlackSheepBeer’s #pineapple #ipa is no exception. Instant smell of pineapple and cream. On first sip you’re hit with a burst of fruit and vanilla with the cream hitting you last. A creamy and sunny 8/10 #yum

The #Boston #Tea #Party famous for chucking British #tea boxes into the sea. Maybe they were actually beer kegs? Either way this #hazy #ale brewed in #Britain is easy drinking and would be suited being drunk at parties. Let’s call it the Boston #Beer party. A representative 8/10

From @AldiUk is a #budget #beer under £1.50. The Ghost Dance is a pale ale celebrating the Chinook tribe. Whether they actually help them out I have no idea. Let’s hope so. This one smells juicy, has a weird smokymesswas which of works with a bitter note. A native 6.5/10 #wild

It’s, punchy, smooth and very well balanced comes a #grapefruit #ipa from @Williamsbrewery. They’ve really managed to control the natural bitterness of the fruit to create an easy drinking #beer perfect for quarantine sun. Let’s count this as one of our 5 a day. A raunchy 7.5/10

It’s sour, it’s funky, it’s... Elvis? @BrewDog called it Elvis Juice. Why? Because they have the money to go to court over it (check it out) It’s a bit sour and the Grapefruit notes come in the after taste. It’s nice but not enough bear the King’s name. A rock n roll 6.5%/10

In from crime city Chicago is this equally sinful #ipa from @lagunitasbeer. It’s consistently hoppy and bitter throughout but at least the colour is pretty. I probably wouldn’t order a second of these ‘bad boys’ unless Al Capone told me to. A delinquant 3/10 #beer #critic #mafia

Created by @innisandgunn comes their #passionfruit #paleale. It looks hopeful in it’s nice can and initial tropical smell. But that’s where it ends. There’s just nothing going for it. Watered down and bitter throughout. Cans can be so misleading. An oh so sad 3.5/10 #critic #sad
