@JoyOnBroad Are they doing the whole foundational work too? Plus is it Trex/composite? If they are doing all that too the material alone would be half of that $30k, and that’s if you’re getting average level Trex. They’re not gonna charge you $5k for labor.
@nomorefielders@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20 Never did I say he was better than bonds or any other player. Simply that his offensive run production was factually and statistically the best during that run, and amongst the best all time for a 4 year span.
@nomorefielders@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20 I made one statement. That Howard’s 2006-2009 is the best run production 4 year span since the 1930’s and all day ppl are trying to rebut it with “but look at his career” and “his avg” etc etc. None of which has anything to do with my statement which can’t be proven wrong.
@nomorefielders@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20 I do. Show me the 4 year span where he had more run production than Howard’s 2006-2009. I’ll save you time, it doesn’t exist.
@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20@nomorefielders I’ll say it again, 2006-2009, those 4 years. I’m not talking about his career. Obviously his career doesn’t measure up. But those 4 years do better than any 4 year span since the 1930’s.
@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Did anyone in all of baseball produce more runs then Ryan Howard over a 4 year span from 2006-2009? That was my point. That stretch ranks up in the history books of best 4 year RBI and home run stretch. That’s nothing to debate it’s just a fact.
@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Haha geez. So we shouldn’t elevate Lou Gehrig then because he hit behind Babe who got on base 50% of the time. You know you still have to be the one to drive them in
@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Other than Sammy Sosa’s steroid stretch, there has been no other player since Babe Ruth/Gehrig/Jimmie Fox to hit more RBI over a 4 year stretch than Howard. It’s literally the greatest run production 4 year stretch since the 1930’s. Not to mention averaging 49.5 HR over the 4 yrs
@FeralYankeesFan@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Hah. In that 4 seasons he was #1 in home runs and #1 in RBI and 2nd in Slugging. How people are trying to prove that that wasn’t that big of a deal is something. He averaged 49.5/143 over that span. Every team in the league would have extended him.
@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Ok “dog”, he signed the contract extension in April 2010 right after 4 seasons of 58, 47, 48, and 45 home runs and 149, 136, 146, and 141 RBI. Nobody produced more in that 4 seasons than him. Then proceeded to hit 31/108 and 33/116 before tearing his Achilles that ended him
@RAJr_20@nomorefielders Imagine thinking we shouldn’t have given Howard an extension when he’s in the middle of one of the best 5 year offensive runs in the history of the game.
@TommyKelly44@SportsRadioWIP “If one of the biggest plays of the game DIDNT happen they would have lost!”. Haha please stop. Let’s take the biggest play out of every game and see what happens.
@Rajatsoni So someone who was diligent in saving for many years shouldn’t be allowed to collect SS? “Let’s only give social security to certain people who don’t have as much money”. My goodness.
