Quick and dirty tips for coping with depression brought to you by my personal experience, a thread:
1. Take note of sunny spots where you can sit down, especially around your home. When you want to curl up and sleep for eternity, go sit in these spots. (vitamin D *and* warmth!)
I'm just now, this year, starting to internalize and accept that no one will hurt me if I'm not blameless and 100% self aware and always doing the right thing, and realizing that this is like step zero to having genuine accountability

I lost a sense of purpose in life right before the cancer scare, and now I

Hey I waited a month to get a biopsy and just found out I'm okay, I don't have cancer, and oh my god. I never want to think about what that would do to my loved ones again. Never.
