@RunswickRed@nffcbod That is a big issue he has not played at a high enough level to earn clearance. Also do you keep him on the payroll on a long contract taking up a squad space just to keep his brother & mum happy when he’s never going to be good enough, crazy situation
@LifeofMelo Absolute nonsense, spurs agreed terms with Raya’s agent before they even negotiated with the club, they then refused to bid over £20m so signed Vicario instead
@ImmenseITFC@DrewHeatley@blockyy23 BBC 😆 respected local journalists with close links said 2 candidates were seriously considered Andrews & Cochrane both already at the club. We appoint internally as we don’t want a external manager coming in expecting to do things his own way, structure & strategy set by owner
@mrbradleyg1t@craig_dw@PhilR2025 We quoted £40m but knew we wouldn’t get that with only 1 yr left on his contract so sold at £30m (initial £3m loan fee and agreement with player & club for another £27m. Raya had to extend his BFC contract an extra yr as part of that agreement. Spurs wouldn’t go over £20m
@njglufc@JacobHorsfall_ The structure & strategy implemented by our owner means the manager’s position at Brentford is largely interchangeable without negatively effecting the club, that is why we promote from within as we don’t want a big ‘Name’ who would expect to come in & do things his own way.
@dylan_al99@joeecfc1905 We wouldn’t mind, Frank was only successful with us because of the support structure our owner puts in place, the managers position is more of a figurehead, all major decisions are taken behind the scenes.
@THFC_Lew@WislaKrakowAlez Your issue is you presumed Frank was the brains behind our rise to the PL, he was more of a figurehead. Benham our owner implemented our entire strategy and recruitment methods.
@dog_person20@solventspurs Benham our owner is the brains, he’s the one who implemented our whole strategy and recruitment methods. The managers position with us is more of a figurehead but all the big decisions are made behind the scenes.
@AKH_2001 What exactly do you expect us to do with the £71m & the £55m we got from the sales of Mbeumo & Wissa last year. People moaning because we actually have a strategy in the transfer market.
@DonkeyQuixotic@KaiGWatson@FarvaRangers I don’t support my local team because they might win a trophy that is something fake glory hunting armchair fans do watching on there tv. I support my team because it’s where I grew up, it’s where I’m from, it’s part of my identity, my soul.
