@DrewHeatley Ignoring everything else, all banter aside, why is it a no brainer? He rejected Brighton in favour of signing a new deal with us and I would wager they were probably slightly more appealing than Fulham are currently
@greyskiesxt5@twtduk@LPenning_96 A young CM with all the physical attributes needed, who’s been a dependable squad player for mid table Everton for a few seasons, getting better each year with loads of room to grow, isn’t good enough for newly promoted Ipswich? Baffling, what sort of pull do you think we have??
@HamzaSZN Ruined his career by giving him the chance to play premier league football after just 1 great season at the second tier having spent most of his career to date beforehand in leagues 1/2?
@joaogomesloverr@JF0RSURE__@charliewring1 Hasn’t Ayling been shifted to centre half where he has much less 1v1 defending to do? If KT is playing as a standard full back can see him struggling, though if wolves have the majority of the ball & are dominant I would assume they won’t exactly have masses of defending to do
@Papeery@Ellis_ Because it would be really good for the pyramid as a whole, need as many signs as possible that it won’t just be the same 6 or so teams dominating all the time. Be nice to break the status quo up as much as possible
@skybluedeano78@BM9MF@utdbrxy@adzvii Both have different starting 11s come opening day anyway so all irrelevant. Having recent top flight experience should help us though, have got out teething problems out the way, learnt some lessons and done some heavy off field work in terms of facilities, all helps
@Theboyfrom19357@markgoldbridge Agreed. We (Ipswich) have got some recent prem experience now & should hopefully be able to learn from the mistakes we made. Cov will be experiencing those same teething problems from having been out the top flight for decades like we did previously, Lampard doesn’t negate that
