In Sanatan tradition, spirituality is not merely an inner feeling or philosophical belief. It is cultivated through discipline (niyam), practice (sadhana) and living according to the principles laid down in the Shastra. Spirituality cannot simply mean choosing whatever beliefs and practices selectively as per comfort.
A person cannot claim spiritual growth just by talking about God, meditation or consciousness while ignoring the disciplines that support them. Shastra gives the framework; tradition gives the method; discipline turns it into devotional experience. There is nothing called spiritual convenience in Sanatan.
Bhagavat-Prapti is not an easy thing. Marely believing in Bhagwan or speaking about spirituality is not considered sufficient. Bhagavat-prapti demands sadhana, niyam, self-discipline, control over the senses, adherence to Dharma and sincere practice according to Shastra. It is a gradual transformation of one's entire life, not something achieved through occasional prayer or intellectual knowledge alone.
Spirituality without consistency, Niyam and Sadhna is just the sentiment of Gen Z, while discipline without understanding can become mechanical ritual. These two have to go together.
