The Bears have had a lot of sliding-doors moments over the years under George McCaskey at GM, head coach and quarterback.
The result? 13 starting QBs, 0 playoff wins.

@dabearsblog It’s been easy to be a bears doomer since 2011 and fans have a lot of trauma to work through to change that. I’ve personally chosen to enjoy this ride this year and be happy we have the coach and qb to be successful.
I understand Caleb misses some 'layups' but they're so damn microscoped in his eval as if no other elite QB has ever missed a layup or made a mistake
'It's a pattern with his game'
Is it though? Of late? Because the QB I'm watching consistently makes big plays & hits what he needs to, with a M.A.S.H. unit WR group
I'm not suggesting Caleb is above reproach. There are aspects of his game worth critiquing & improving accuracy is one of them.
However...he's a 2nd year QB that has been ascending & playing ridiculously good clutch football
Soo...what the hell are we doing here?
I can’t imagine being a fan of the Chicago Bears and not being utterly elated right now. This is EVERYTHING we have wanted. If you’re nitpicking details, you’re lost.
