There's only one movie to watch today: The Spirit of '76 (1990).
DEVO sends David Cassidy back in time to save the Declaration of Independence, but he arrives in time for the 1976 Bicentennial...
Jonny Quest was unique in many ways, and it's truly one of a kind in Saturday morning TV.
It was twice the budget of The Flintstones, and every other cartoon, full orchestra, characters died violently, the art was more nuanced. Sponsors hated it, and it lost money.
My case for Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995)
A criminally underrated 90s gem. Andy Garcia’s weary charisma, a killer supporting cast, quotable dialogue, and an off-the-leash Walken. Stylish, strange, and way better than its rep.
Dredd (2012) is a wildly underrated sci-fi gem. Karl Urban nailed the role, and the world-building deserved way more love. Still holding out hope for a sequel.
If you intend to celebrate Walpurgisnacht with me on April 24, you will study this three-page document intensely. I have failed five times to get Walpurgisnacht adopted as an American holiday, but I feel like THIS IS THE YEAR. Joe Bob's Wicked Witchy Wingding, only on @Shudder.
Robin Williams’ fall in this scene wasn’t scripted. If you watch closely, you can see him and the other actors trying to hold back their laughter as the unexpected moment unfolds.

If you know Dave Mordal, this is a post of my own Christmas Future. I say this as I light another cigarette, blame comedy and hate myself.

Highlander was released OTD in 1986 - A THREAD
The opening sword fight is supposed to take place in Madison Square Gardens' car park, it's actually a London fruit market. The sparks were created by having wires up the actors arms attached to car batteries.

In honor of one of the most unique, amazingly spontaneous and hilarious voice actors (and collector of folk art) that will ever grace our generation of kids like us who grew up on Cartoon Network in the 90s.
Rest in peace George Lowe.
Hooked into Common Side Effects
Thot it be a stoner comedy from a poster. Turns out it's a thriller about Big Pharma and DEA's hunting down a guy with a special mushroom. The show's gorgeous
RIP George Lowe
The voice of Space Ghost in "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast", one of the most legendary voices in Cartoon Network history, part of the show that started it all for them really.
He will never be forgotten for everything he gave to us. Thank you for it all.
