trump's gang of fools are banking on 2 possibilities:
1. Presidential Pardons
OR
2. Attempt to hold on to power regardless of election results.
Unfortunately he's not just an "impotent old man", he has the power of the presidency and is willing to wield it without regard for ethics.
Prosecute every complicit traitor!
It took a while in the Nixon era, but they convicted 48 people.
There are three times as many in this administration and the country needs to see that the rule of law and our constitution still matter… that America is still of the people, by the people and for the people, and we won’t stand for a fascist takeover facilitated by the GOP.
We need Jack Smith too.
@EllenBarkin Obviously, Ellen still believes the US is a democracy. But that ended the day Trump was elected. Even if there are elections, the idea that they won't be rigged or interfered with at every level is naive.
@EllenBarkin In less than two years. He's in cognitive decline, and we all see it. This is a great book from renowned medical experts and spells it all out.
@EllenBarkin Lewandowski has bragged to people that he can do anything he wants because Trump will pardon him. That is also the plan of the cabinet and top White House staff, plus the "outside" criminals Trump has doing his dirty work.
This is what I cannot understand…
In 2 yrs donald trump will not be president. He will be just another impotent old man. A feeble, decrepit lunatic howling at the moon. Now what does his cabinet of criminals think is going to happen to them? Cuz these souls do not deserve saving
In 40 minutes, Donald said: the Strait of Hormuz isn't closed, but he wants it reopened; we’re not at war with Iran, but our allies are cowards for not helping; he wants a ceasefire, but he doesn’t want one. He also declared victory three times.
Such clarity. Such leadership.
Oh stop being such an idiot, Rep. Goldman. TSA officers aren't Walmart greeters!!! They're frontline aviation security professionals who screen millions daily, flag threats via watchlists and document checks, and detain suspects until law enforcement arrives to make arrests. They catch criminals who could endanger passengers; they don't just wave people through.
ICE agents, as federal officers under DHS, have full arrest authority for immigration violations and related crimes. They don't need to waste taxpayer dollars calling in local police for every encounter. When deployed to airports amid this Democrat-caused shutdown crisis (where TSA is hemorrhaging staff as hundreds have quit and thousands are calling out due to unpaid wages and chaos Democrats caused), ICE is there to support security, manage crowds, check IDs, and yes, enforce federal law by making arrests when they identify removable non-citizens or other violations.
That's not overreach; that's exactly what trained federal agents do to keep airports safe and operational during a Democrat-fueled funding impasse that's crippling travel.
Rep. Dan Goldman knows this full well. He's seen ICE operations up close (including his own oversight visits to detention facilities) and has long pushed to abolish the agency. Yet he's now crying foul over unmarked arrests at SFO, amplifying a viral video of ICE detaining someone while pretending their presence is unrelated to helping TSA reduce lines and protect passengers. Rep Goldman isn't crying about about passenger safety or proper procedure; his post is pure politics of scoring points against enforcement at the expense of smoother, more secure travel for everyday Americans.
If Goldman truly cared about aviation security, he'd support funding DHS properly instead of blocking it and then complaining when ICE steps in to fill the gap. Enforcing the law at airports isn't chaos: it's common sense.
