The reason we went out on our doorsteps and clapped them…
Was because they put their lives at risk to save ours
Because they had to go to work when we could seek refuge at home
Because day after day they go above and beyond for us
Now pay them for it.
@ThomasKnyvett how can you not respond to this violent assault with the immediate suspension of those teachers who casually approached the fight, and did nothing! 🤬Had it been black on white this would have been a totally different story!! 🤬
Lots of hate directed at us on twitter today! It won’t distract us from our fight, we believe in a fully funded NHS which is safe for all.
We also believe that year on year of cuts to our pay leaving us in a dangerous retention crisis isn’t ok either.
Haters gonna hate ✌️
It feels increasingly like it’s the living standards of ordinary people being sacrificed in the name of tackling inflation whilst others are left completely free to charge inflated prices and make excessive profits.
Akshata Murty is worth £27bn and went to all that trouble to avoid £20m tax. Thats the same as having £27,000 in the bank and dodging paying 20 quid. The greed is mind boggling.
