I caught in the Big Leagues for almost 10 years! I believe that I am more than qualified to call pitches at the college level but I choose NOT to!! Would never take that responsibility away from the pitcher/catcher relationship!! More to come about this!!!

A catchers main responsibility is Running The Game! Calling pitches is only a small part of this! Setting the pace of the game, keeping the pitcher in rhythm! Instilling conviction and confidence! A pitcher’s commitment to the pitch is more important than the pitch itself!!
