BefriendED Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2023
Our theme this year is #neverjust1. Struggling with an eating disorder may feel lonely, but remember that you have a community ready to support you through your highs and lows!

You need to eat today because you’re a living breathing human being with a body that requires food for survival.
But also because you deserve respect, satisfaction, joy, and pleasure.
You can’t fully participate in your life on an empty stomach. You need to eat.
Gentle reminder that you need to eat today.
Even if you feel bloated.
Even if your hunger cues are absent.
Even if you’ve gained weight.
Even if you feel guilty about what you ate yesterday.
Even if someone commented on your body.
Being able to enjoy your favorite holiday foods with your loved ones is one of the most valuable things eating disorders deprive you of.
To anyone celebrating over the holidays, remember to fuel your body and soul ♥️
Help BefriendED fund our web app!
We are developing an app to allow anyone struggling with an eating disorder to chat one on one.
To fund this, we need your help! You can create your own fundraising page and join us in our fight against eating disorders!
