This morning, the Coldstream Guards at Buckingham Palace performed a tribute to Dolly Parton.
The last time I remember the guards at the palace honoring the memory of an American entertainer was when they paid tribute to Aretha Franklin after she passed away.
Well deserved!
These people have no shame.

More than 80,000 criminals and immigration offenders have been returned since July 2024.
Returns have reached a near-decade high, with removals now at their highest level since 2016.
If you come here illegally, or you break our laws, you will be sent home.
@I_amMukhtar This is absolutely tragic ๐ I hope little Saja finds strength when she recovers and that she will have people around her to support her ๐ซ
For those who still havenโt fully grasped what Reformโs new welfare policy actually means:
It does not distinguish between a foreign national who has worked in Britain for decades, paid hundreds of thousands of pounds in tax and National Insurance, and contributed to their community, and someone who has made little or no contribution.
The dividing line is not contribution.
It is citizenship.
That means a policy aimed directly at millions of people who live here, work here, pay tax here and help keep this country running.
It means the foreign nationals who make up 30% of NHS nurses and 36% of NHS doctors in England.
It means the barista who makes your coffee.
The bus driver who gets you to work.
The taxi driver who takes you home.
The person serving you in your local pub.
The carers looking after your parents.
The colleagues you have worked alongside for twenty years.
Your neighbours.
Your friends.
People who may have spent decades paying into exactly the same tax and National Insurance system as British citizens.
Reform could have proposed a fair system.
They didnโt.
They chose nationality. They chose discrimination. They chose xenophobia.
Whatever your views on immigration, treating millions of hardworking, tax-paying people as inherently less deserving simply because of the passport they hold is an utterly disgusting policy.
