Our #CellLineOfTheWeek is SOX-2 - our first cell line to go into space! 🚀
Last year, @axiom_space and @CSRegenMedicine researchers @ArunSharmaPhD and @CliveSvendsen sent SOX-2 to the @ISS_CASIS to study stem cell production in microgravity.

Interview with @BeghinTeam and Gianluca Grenci with @UZHspacehub about testing their ZeroG-Well technology for growing organoids in microgravity on the latest Swiss parabolic flight campaign.

New paper from the lab!
We developed an optogenetic tool, OptoShroom3, to induce apical constriction in illuminated cells(left).
By controlling cell shapes, OptoShroom3 can induce tissue shape changes, including lumen shrinkage of neural organoids(right).

And I discover that we shared the same volume with the wonderful TrackMate7 paper from D.Ershov. Congrats again to JYTinevez and GJacquemet teams ! I still like sometimes the real paper version...
How does the complex internal structure of an organ emerge during development? Happy and relieved to see our attempt to answer this just out: https://t.co/0BTF3oUWjH
Below, I give an overview of the paper and the key results (1/21)
Wait for it bis !Our JeWells as the cover of Nature methods ! Fantastic work of Diego Pitta de Araujo for the illustration. "Volume 19 Issue 7, July 2022" https://t.co/xcehn3HeOQ
@AMartinezArias@TheNode Very interesting topic of the current situation and the future of our profession ! I just would like to add the Ludwig Von Bertalanffy and his Theory of Open Systems in Physics and Biology. https://t.co/DXmtgPI3bp.
For me, so many biologists forget the 'System thinking'.
