We are sending our kids to school to memorize facts that AI can retrieve in 0.3 seconds.
We're grading them on essays that AI writes better than their teachers.
We're preparing them for jobs that won't exist by the time they graduate.
The entire education system is training humans to compete with machines at what machines do best.
That's not education. That's sabotage.
The schools that survive will teach thinking, not memorizing. Creating, not repeating. Discerning, not obeying.
Every other school is a museum that doesn't know it yet.
46 million working Americans donāt have a 401k plan, pension plan or other savings plan for their retirement.
Tonight, President @realDonaldTrump announced that he was going to create a savings plan that will model that of the Thrift Savings Plan https://t.co/NE92ZiEYc8 for government employees. Letās call it the Trump Savings Plan.
The Trump Savings Plan will allow workers without a savings plan to put aside a portion of their income every year with a Federal match of $1,000 ā with the potential for the match to increase with congressional approval ā that will be invested in the stock market and will grow tax free until their retirement.
We need every working American to own a piece of capitalism so that while they sleep, they can save for their retirement and the next generation.
And importantly, the program pays for itself even with a 5% government match, as the participants retire with the resources they need, and are no longer reliant on welfare programs and are not a future burden to the welfare system.
I predict that increasing the government match for the Trump Savings Plan will be one of the few bipartisan pieces of legislation approved by Congress next year for how can a member of Congress vote against giving every working American the same savings plan that they have?
This is an amazing initiative for our country. Thank you President Trump for your leadership!
@DoctorLemma Fun factā¦in 2003 I was a contractor in Iraq. Shortly after kickoff, we ended up making home base at Uday Hussein zoo. There were still a few luxury cars there and we had to take a 9mm with us when running because the hyenas had escaped and were still running around the area.
We pay taxes on the money we make, we pay taxes on the money we spend, we pay taxes every year on the land we own and our kids pay taxes AGAIN when we die on anything we leave them. All so we can fund more fraud. Itās worse than a mafia protection racket. Anyone else tired of it?
@Schwalm5132@samosaur I really hope we arenāt reposting this in a year saying told you so. Hope our leadership at all levels are seeing this and taking to heart.
Senator Thune,
We understand that a government shutdown is looming & ā with the democrat-led violent unrest in Minnesota ā America is in a precarious position.
However, if your intent is to stay as the Senate Majority Leader, then understand one of the single most important things Americans want right now is the SAVE Act.
We work hard every single day to take care of our families. Respectfully, we donāt feel that our concerns regarding voter fraud are being taken seriously.
With non-citizens on the voter rolls in Michigan & 1 registered Minnesota voter being able to vouch for 8 other persons without an ID, how do you expect us to want to come out to vote for Republicans if we feel that our lawful votes are going to be diluted by fraudulent ones?
How is there any incentive for us to vote when we gave you the majority & you are failing to hear our voices & ā more importantly ā be our voice?
The American people want to see a vote on the SAVE Act. Yes, we want it to pass. Yes, there are avenues to achieve a simple majority that do not require the Nuclear Option (call Senator Lee). Yes, we want a vote even if you think it doesnāt have the votes to pass.
Most importantly, we want to see that our Senators are working for us. If you donāt respond to our emails, calls, or that the SAVE Act trends on social media every single day, how else are we supposed to feel other than that weāre being ignored?
Listen to the people that elected you, gave you the majority, & bring up the SAVE Act for a vote.
Itās time.
CC: @LeaderJohnThune
Chief puts it more eloquently than we could. Thatās why heās Chief. This is why ODAs have them.
But this is the most important thing you can read today.
@DataRepublican@ProfMJCleveland Honest questionā¦could the conversation just be closed captioned on the screen for all viewers to read? Wouldnāt it be more effective than a sign language translator?
@RoxyRigatoni@randy270281 I use one in an enclosed sealed up deer blind. Works perfect and Iām still alive. Plusā¦fold handle down and wrap your food in foil and lay it on top to heat it. Pizza 2-3 mins each side!
The Bill Europe Never Paid
America owes Europe an apology. We interfered with the natural order of things.
That continent knew more war than any other place in human history. Civilization hardened there through fire. Borders mattered because they had to. Weakness was punished because it always is. Pretty normal stuff.
Then we arrived. And we erased thousands of years of defensive instinct in a single century.
But America owes an apology to itself as well. Because we sold the world a lie.
The United States lost hundreds of thousands in the World Wars just to stop Europe from destroying itself.
Then we paid to rebuild it.
Since 1949, the U.S. has spent trillions of dollars underwriting Europeās defense through NATO. For decades, the U.S. has carried 60ā70% of total NATO military spending, while European nations invested the peace dividend elsewhere.
Free healthcare. Guaranteed pensions. Expansive welfare states. All subsidized by American power.
Then American elites pointed across the Atlantic and said, Look. It works. Ivy League campuses praised European socialism as moral progress.
"We can make it work here too!" They never mentioned the footnote. It only worked because America paid for the guns.
Now a country on Europeās eastern front with a GDP smaller than Italyās can outproduce the munitions of an entire continent.
The EUās combined GDP is roughly $17 trillion. Russiaās is ~$2 trillion. And yet Europe cannot sustain a major conventional war without American stockpiles, American logistics, and American industry.
We lied to them. And we lied to ourselves.
We exported a fantasy of governance made possible only by American blood and American treasure. Then acted shocked when that fantasy crossed the ocean and began hollowing out our own institutions.
A blueprint that promised comfort without strength.
It has only served to weaken nations, hollow sovereignty, and anesthetize survival instincts. Empires rarely fall to invasion.
They fall when they forget why they were strong.
And Europe is not the only one who forgot. Security must be paid for every generation. Skip a payment, and history forecloses.
We screwed up. Let's hope we can actually change course and do something about it. Europe must stand on its own. It is the only way. Allowing them to rise is merciful. Subsidizing them (and us) to death, is unimaginable cruelty.
Sad fact: we donāt NEED to win the midterms if we keep ONLY using Congress to help Democrats fulfill their agenda⦠while ignoring our own.
Controversial? Shouldnāt be.
We control everything now and we canāt even pass the SAVE Act.
Canāt pass permanent tax cuts for working families.
Canāt pass term limits for Congress.
Canāt pass defunding Planned Parenthood.
Canāt pass school choice nationwide.
Canāt pass banning federal funds for gender ideology in schools.
Canāt pass eliminating the debt ceiling.
Canāt pass ending federal funding for sanctuary cities.
We hold the House, the Senate, the White Houseāand STILL we act like weāre the minority begging for scraps.
The disappointment is profound.
The irony is crushing.
We were given the mandate, the majority, the momentāand weāre squandering it on bipartisan ācompromiseā that always bends left.
This isnāt governing.
This is SURRENDER dressed as statesmanship.
America deserves better šŗšø
I want to make something clear to Republican House & Senate members:
The American people donāt want to hear that you WONāT introduce legislation b/c you think it wonāt pass.
We EXPECT you to vote on bills, so we can find out whoās with us & against us.
To my fellow evangelical Christians who are conservatives: what is happening on the right has nothing to do with Jews or Israel. That framing is a distraction. This is about us, about the evangelical Christian vote and the fact that it still answers to something higher than power, party, or cultural approval. We are not being targeted because of foreign policy positions. We are being targeted because we refuse to surrender our convictions.
That is why we are suddenly called heretics. That is why the language used against us is no longer disagreement but dehumanization. That is why theology itself is being attacked, not debated, not challenged honestly, but mocked and treated as dangerous. You do not speak this way about people you simply disagree with. You speak this way about people you intend to neutralize.
This is not about truth seeking. It is about control. If they can convince the public that orthodox Christians are extremists, they do not have to engage us. They can silence us. They do not want our vote. They want our submission. And if we will not submit, they want us isolated, ashamed, and quiet. Pay attention. This did not begin with policy. It began with language. And language is always the first weapon.
