When Tier 1 is weak, lots of students look like they need intervention.
When Tier 2 is weak, lots of students look like they need Tier 3 or special education.
Strong investments in Tier 1 & Tier 2 is a critical starting place for prevention.

Access gaps = outcome gaps.

Over 150 elementary teachers came together on a Saturday to learn about behavior strategies. There was energy and laughter and engagement. Door prizes, great breakfast provided, free goodies, and tangible items to take home. That's what I call a great day!

Even when doing consulting, I never get tired of that teacher high. The moment you see light bulbs go off in your audience, when you can see their perspectives change. And all while sharing a few laughs in the process. Same great feeling I had in the classroom.
