Senator Ted Cruz, the son of a Cuban immigrant, has always been known for his sharp mind and competitive spirit. I’ll admit, I wasn’t always a fan, but after watching him debate Donald Trump, I was struck by how sharp and tenacious he was. Over the years, he’s earned my respect as I’ve come to appreciate what he stands for—his values, his commitment to securing our border, and his belief in states’ rights. I now believe he is the right leader to continue fighting for Texas and its future.

I support Senator Ted Cruz because we share similar values on Education, Economy and Constitutional freedoms. As a Combat Veteran I know sacrifice and   the cost for our Freedoms.  As a father of 8 and Grandfather 14 I will always fight for my family, children and grandchildren to see they have the best future. I see Senator Cruz fighting with us Texans to secure and maintain these freedoms.

As a small business owner, I see firsthand how inflation and government regulations are impacting individuals, small businesses and communities across Texas. The Biden Administration’s love of spending and regulating is directly responsible for the cost of goods and services dramatically increasing. Senator Cruz’s efforts to limit government spending and regulation show that he understands basic economics. I am supporting Senator Cruz because he not only acknowledges the problem, but understands how to resolve it. The best way our leader can show that they care about all Texans is to put every Texan in a position where they will be able to succeed. This means lowering taxes, getting inflation under control, encouraging small business to innovate and leveraging the energy resources that Texas and The United States of America possess. I have worked in education for 16 years as a secondary teacher, having recently stepped down to assume my appointment as the Hood County Clerk. I am a worried that politicians, like Colin Allred, will promote moral and social decline to change my state into an unrecognizable, woke hell. As parents of teenagers, we have faced the spiritual war against our children. Marxist perversity attacks them through social media, activist teachers, social workers, and so-called mental health ""experts,"" all aiming to confuse and divide families. We saw this firsthand while living outside Texas.

Ted Cruz fearlessly defends our God-given parental rights. A constitutional lawyer and man of faith, he has backed legislation to protect children from these activists, keep predators out of public bathrooms, and defend women’s sports from men posing as women. Like early Christian defenders of liberty, Cruz knows our rights come from God through Jesus Christ, not government. That’s why our household will vote for Ted Cruz for U.S. Senate.
