This is my final tweet for #ENGL380 its very bittersweet as I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this women. I also enjoyed sharing this platform with everyone #Wildcard #goodbye

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

Herrad probably was not to happy with her male counterparts discrediting her encyclopedia #ENGL380 #Wildcard

Women comfortably reading by the fireplace #WILDCARD #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@LibbyPe88479204 Never know when opportunity will arise it seems that Herrad was ready for anything. This is just some small insight as to how intelligent she is. #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu It’s also interesting to see the role of the chimney and window glass play a role in the popularity of reading #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu I agree Herrad’s work was so impressive that it deeply intimidated many men so they discredited her work #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu I agree the only way these women could get any sort of education would be to join a nunnery #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

Herrad was a very interesting character to read about from #McGuire. Her work was so impressive that many men discredited her work because that much knowledge should not have been credited to a woman. #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

I found it very interesting in the #Bell readings that new technology such as the fireplace and window created more opportunity to read. I would have never guessed this l. #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@Rebecca48174788 Really shows her devotion to God. I don’t understand how someone could do those things #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu I think #MK had some more serious visions 😂 #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@lily_aubuchon It just shows how strong the temptations of the devil can be #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu I wonder why she refers to herself as that #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

I find it very interesting that Margery Kempe always refers to herself as “this creature”. Was this a popular thing for the time or was it just the way she wrote? #MK #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

I found #MK’s birth of her first child very interesting. It shows how the Devil has a substantial amount of power but she understands through her vision that she can’t succumb to him. #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

Chaucer has some mad rhyming skills and I really enjoyed his poems #LOGW #wildcard #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

I really enjoyed reading about Joan of Arc this week because she’s a total badass #JoanOfArc #wildcard #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

The hangman that had to execute #Cecilia #wildcard #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@LivellMegan Just like all the other women we read about this week. They all went through an awful lot #ENGL380

[conor behrens @behrens_conor]

@theisabelmanu It’s impressive to see them stick with their decision and not fold #ENGL380
