Day 2 of the Taphonomy workshop: @WRTIKenya researchers were taken through identifying different wildlife species using skeletal elements.

The focus was on distinguishing species using bone structure, analyzing weathering patterns, and understanding modifications caused by both carnivores and human interaction.

Researchers were also trained in estimating the Minimum Number of Individuals (MNI) from bone samples, enhancing their research precision.

They later undertook a practical field excursion survey for bone.
