Emotions running high, no end in sight, no timely practical help. The “taxpayer’s” of this country, homeowners who have worked hard all their lives, continue to do so to pay a mortgage on a house that is disintegrating before our 👀 daily.

@EDoherty_tweets @DarraghOBrienTD @McConalogue This is utterly disgraceful, absolute discrimination and is causing huge division. Are Mica and Pyrite families in Mayo and Donegal 'other's. Are our children in need of less safety and security! Is their mental health and safety less important than those in Dublin.

[Eileen Doherty @EDoherty_tweets]

So this new legislation for those affected by defective apartments will provide 100% redress with no cap? @DarraghOBrienTD @McConalogue would you consider this fair and equitable treatment of those homeowners affected by defective blocks?

@ProfPaulDunlop @PaddyDiver4 @DarraghOBrienTD @McConalogue @LeoVaradkar @micaactiongroup Do they care who's watching anymore ??? It appears regardless of said audience, they paddle their own canoe and reap the masses of cash into pensions, property, etc.

[Professor Paul Dunlop @ProfPaulDunlop]

Apartment owners in Dublin deserve to have their issue resolved 100%. The announcement by cabinet will be watched closely by everyone caught up in defective homes no matter what the cause. All citizens deserve equality @DarraghOBrienTD @McConalogue @LeoVaradkar @micaactiongroup

[MAG @mag_justice]

Will then @LeoVaradkar ensure those responsible for #mica #pyrite scandals & defective apartments are pursued by State authorities as opposed to leaving it to affected individuals with limited means to go up against multi €million/billion companies?

@DarraghOBrienTD @daraobriain Whoever runs this account you're an absolute disgrace to be making light of a situation your boss is struggling to fix

And to @daraobriain if you've no idea what's going on in Donegal then educate yourself

[Mica Redress @MicaRedress]

@DarraghOBrienTD @daraobriain Photo below is the reason Donegal people (mistakingly) tagged @daraobriain

The reason behind the tweets is not laughing matter. We have a defective housing scandal in Donegal... And the Minister of housing is making jokes about it on social media?

[MAG @mag_justice]

@DarraghOBrienTD @daraobriain Pretty sure this Donegal homeowner didn't get the joke this morning, as she tried to make a cup coffee using #MicaDamaged electrical sockets

What's your #MicaPlan for getting people out of houses like this @DarraghOBrienTD?
