Denver gave homeless people $1,000 a month, no strings attached. A year later:
*45% secured housing
*Taxpayers saved $590k because of fewer visits to the hospital, jail and shelters
*People used the money on groceries, rent, hygiene, clothes and transportation
*Mental health improved and they could spend more time with their kids and grandkids
Amazing what happens when you give people a chance
To bring it To a more realistic comparison… Zales and Kay’s vs Claire’s. Anyone can work there but do they deserve the same pay? There is a wage issue in America and that’s a fact but not everyone deserves the same pay.
I’ve personally worked multiple places where servers make $10 - $17 dollars an hour. These were places where the job was taken seriously. Just working as a server does not entitle you to higher pay. Does some that works at Tiffany’s vs Claire’s deserve the same pay?
@YT_SKYLO1 You definitely have some understanding but people popular on MMATwitter 6 years ago definitely had a deeper understanding than the average hardcore.
It’s ok to not be an OG or have seen every fight. But why make greatest ever compilations without having a good basis/understanding. It’s easy to post fight moments everyone knows…. This is the problem with MMATwitter
