बॉलीवुड के मशहूर अभिनेता नाना पाटेकर ने किसी भी तरह की परवाह किए बिना खुलेआम इस्लाम और अज़ान के प्रति अपने प्रेम का इज़हार करके सबको हैरान कर दिया है।

भारतीय मीडिया के अनुसार, अपने नाती के जन्म पर नाना पाटेकर ने पारंपरिक हिंदू नामकरण की रस्मों के बजाय महाराष्ट्र के एक मदरसे के शिक्षक को बुलाकर बच्चे के कान में अज़ान दिलवाई।

इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने मदरसे के 120 से अधिक बच्चों के लिए नए कपड़ों का तोहफ़ा भी भेजा, उनके लिए बेहतरीन खाने का इंतज़ाम किया और खुद उन बच्चों के साथ बैठकर खाना भी खाया।

नाना पाटेकर का कहना था कि जब उन्होंने अज़ान का अनुवाद समझा, तो उनके दिल को एक अजीब-सा सुकून मिला। इसी वजह से उन्होंने अपने नाती को भी जीवन की शुरुआत में इस पवित्र कलाम का तोहफ़ा दिया।

इस काम को लेकर हिंदू कट्टरपंथी हलकों की ओर से आलोचना की गई, तो नाना पाटेकर ने बिना किसी डर के बेबाक अंदाज़ में जवाब देते हुए कहा, “मैं अपने दम पर कमाता और जीता हूँ, मुझे किसी की परवाह नहीं।”

सच्ची बात तो यह है कि जब कोई इंसान पूर्वाग्रह की पट्टी उतारकर सत्य और सुकून की तलाश में निकलता है, तो दुनिया की कोई भी आलोचना उसकी सोच को प्रभावित नहीं कर सकती।
