The last time their people looted banks and security forces responded fiercely, the World Kuki Zo Intellectual Council (WKZIC) wrote to the government, trivializing the incident by comparing it to a hungry child stealing money from their parents to buy chocolate. And now, when the President of KSO Delhi openly confessed to his actions on national television, fully aware of the implications, he’s backtracking. Despite the police preparing an FIR against him, he has consulted with the same WKZIC and issued a written statement, trying to feign innocence by claiming he was unaware of the situation on the ground. He even attempted to differentiate between a Pumpi gun and a Rocket launcher, but in reality, the law makes no such distinction. Whether it’s a Pumpi gun or a more dangerous weapon, the manufacturing or possession of illegal heavy artillery is viewed as severely as building nuclear missiles—just as the law views both a single murder and mass killings in the same light. Similarly, stealing 100 rupees or millions amounts to the same crime.

No intelligent person will buy into his flimsy explanation. The FIR is already in motion, and with the National Security Act (NSA) invoked, this will be a non-bailable offense for at least six months. The consequences are clear: jail time is inevitable for those who support narco-terrorism. Happy jailing to the enablers of these criminal activities.

#Manipur | In a new outbreak of violence, atleast six people were killed in Manipur's Jiribam district on Saturday morning. The violence erupted when suspected Kuki militants entered the home of a man living alone, shooting him dead as he slept. The attack took place nearly 5 kilometers from the district headquarters.
