दिल्ली सरकार ने असम की एक कॉर्पोरेशन के सहयोग से दिल्ली के सबसे गरीब लोगों को तीन साल तक दिए जाने वाले चावल राशन से वंचित करने की पूरी योजना बनाई

इसमें कथित तौर पर करीब 22,000 करोड़ रुपये के चावल की बिक्री शामिल थी, जिसमें कमीशन और ब्रोकरेज लगभग 11,000 करोड़ रुपये का था…
इस पत्र के अनुसार, दिल्ली सरकार ने कहा कि असम की एक कॉर्पोरेशन भारतीय खाद्य निगम / FCI से बहुत कम, अत्यधिक सब्सिडी वाली दर पर चावल खरीदेगी।

यह चावल फिर दिल्ली के प्रवासी मजदूरों, बेघरों और दिहाड़ी मजदूरों में बांटा जाएगा… हालांकि, ये हजारों टन चावल आते रहे और कथित तौर पर हरियाणा की एक निजी कंपनी को दोगुनी कीमत पर बेच दिए गए।

केंद्र सरकार के सतर्कता विभाग ने कहा है कि 23 रुपये प्रति किलो के चावल को हरियाणा की एक निजी कंपनी को 46 रुपये प्रति किलो पर बेचा जा रहा था, जिसमें भारी कमीशन लिया जा रहा था…”

Manjinder Sirsa’s “Food & Civil Supplies” Dept recommended FCI to provide highly subsidised rice to a North East Corporation with purpose of distributing rice to poor of Delhi.

All the Rice which was meant for Delhi’s poor was siphoned off and sold to a Pvt company in Haryana earning illegal commision in crores.

It seems there is a tearing hurry to go to SC. Should judges be allowed SC elevation out of turn, bypassing seniority? That makes him vulnerable to quid pro quo. What is examined before a judge is elevated to SC? Loyalty to the emperor? Should people not know? What face will they show the young gen? No out of turn, opaque elevation shud be permitted. Esp in such cases who throw law to the wind and go out of their way to please the executive. We should be careful of weaponisation of courts. Integrity of courts is most important for democracy to survive.
