From Davos to Israel, our conversations have reflected the growing ties between Somaliland and Israel. Today, those ties take another important step forward as we work together to build a future of partnership, cooperation, and shared opportunity for our peoples.

Yesterday night, we signed the Employee Health Support Program for the staff of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airport Development of #Somaliland at a ceremony held at the Ministry’s headquarters. From today onward, all Ministry employees will benefit from a free Health Package, ensuring access to essential healthcare services and strengthening staff welfare.

I had the honour of sharing an official dinner in Dubai with HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, brother of HM King Charles III, and Sir Gavin Williamson MP, a close friend of the Republic of Somaliland.

Our engagement reaffirmed the historic ties, mutual respect, and strong cooperation between the Republic of Somaliland and the United Kingdom, as well as our shared commitment to peace, security, development, and international partnership.

The Republic of Somaliland remains steadfast in its commitment to diplomacy grounded in constructive dialogue, peaceful coexistence, democracy, and enhanced global cooperation.

I had the honour to participate, for the second consecutive year, in the World Government Summit in Dubai, an international platform shaping the future of leadership, innovation, advanced technology, and sustainable governance.

Representing the Republic of Somaliland, I held a very productive engagements with global leaders and investors who expressed strong interest in partnership and investment opportunities in my country.

It was an honor to engage key stakeholders and leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. My remarks highlighted Somaliland's distinctive historical journey, our right to self-determination, and the transformative promise of Israel's recent recognition for bilateral ties and regional harmony. I noted that recognizing us strengthens global stability and rewards merit. I concluded with a call to forge win-win partnerships in Red Sea security, trade, technology innovation, and joint efforts against extremism.

Last night in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, i met with the President of the State of Israel, @Isaac_Herzog at a high-level dinner. Our discussions focused on strengthening and advancing bilateral relations between the Republic of Somaliland and the State of Israel.

I also met @EricTrump , an influential global figure and son of the President of the United States, as well as other senior global political figures and international leaders.
