I do not envy the councillors, we all want to have everything....

@CliveFlint @andykeetch I think they cannot do that then because one strategy for the plan is that it is not seen that much from the conservation area. The conservation area is basically on the other side of the road so they are trying to minimise impact to this.

@wilsondan @andykeetch Of course there is nimby comments. People will live directly opposite it. They will suffer sleep deprivation and increased pollution. We continue to build over every bit of nature.

@ke98729578 @andykeetch Why do we need to build on it? It should be added to the conservation area, it is part of the corridor that is the Ladies Mile Road Nature reserve. It is only divided by the recreation grounds & allotments. All of which is green space. Waterhall other side

It is not good about the bollards but I imagine they are to stop people driving through it. They should change them to make them accessible so you can access the South Downs.

@ke98729578 @LukeB_MTB @ibikeheathfield @andykeetch This is the flood zone that is monitored constantly. There is a winterbourne that starts here. The water runs from here down the London Road, the Steine and out through Poole Valley (hence the name).

Ask the council why the dolphin fountain is collapsing at the Steine?

@CliveFlint @andykeetch I asked at that webinar through their closed chat if the posties had been surveyed on travel plans in January. They ticked it off and said they'd answered. They hadn't :(

Therefore I don't know. But the scale of the operation feels like a larger site is definitely needed.
