This pregnant cat was roaming in our mohalla,she had a broken jaw so it was impossible for her to eat or drink. She was hungry from last 4 or 5 days and people shooed her away claiming she was infected and smelled .Can you imagine the suffering of this voiceless soul,

Provost IUST’s order banning pets inside the hostel is a tad unfair. Request Dr Zahid Gulzar Sahab to reconsider. Taking care of bezubaan beings inculcates a sense of compassion & empathy. Not just that but depression is so common amongst youth here. Animals heal our hearts. My humble request for you to change your mind 🙏 We can work out ways to ensure cleanliness & responsibility.

1. Understand the Ask: You are respectfully asking the CJI to reverse the order mandating the removal/confinement of stray animals and instead uphold the existing, successful Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023, which focus on sterilisation and vaccination in-situ (in their localities).
